  • Ensure good posture on the computer

Optimize your sitting posture and glasses fit to ensure a neutral spine and slight downward gaze while looking at the screen

Every 20 minutes take a 20 second break to look 20 feet away. Who said gazing into the distance wasn't pointless.

  • Perform blinking exercises

Check out our tips for ways to strengthen your normal blinking muscles. Did you know you only blink 1/3 of the normal frequency while working on the computer.

  • Supplement your tears with good tears

Lubricating drops can help provide a "lotioned" feel to the eyes. Avoid get the red out drops. A good quality omega 3 supplement (like Nordic Naturals ProOmega 2000) can improve tear quality.

  • Optimize your environment

Check out your surrounding: avoid bright overhead lighting or vents above your screen, increase humidity, and ensure regular maintenance on HVAC systems.
